SOUTH INDIA WILDLIFE TOUR

South India is also very rich from Wildlife point of view.  It has numbers of National Park and Wildlife Sanctuaries. Nagarhole, Bandipur, BR Hill, Mudumalai, Wayanad, Thekkady are the main wildlife destinations. The south Indian National Parks and Wildlife Sanctuaries has more than 1000 varieties of birds, 1500 different types’ amphibians and reptiles and a total of 56000 species of insects along with 500 species of mammals. South India has approx 60% of the total tiger population in India.

  1. Day 1 Bangalore [Arrive]

    Arrive at Bangalore Airport. On arrival meet our representative who will transfer you to hotel. Overnight stay.

  2. Day 2 Bangalore - Nagarhole National Park [220 kms]

    After breakfast drive to Nagarhole National Park. Nagarhole National Park is famous wildlife destination in South. On arrival check in to the hotel. Later in afternoon do the jeep safari in the park. Overnight stay.

  3. Day 3 Nagarhole National Park

    Early morning enjoy the wildlife viewing in the park or do the Coracle ride on the Kabini River. Enjoy an evening jeep ride or an Elephant ride into the Nagarhole jungle. Come back to resort for overnight stay.

  4. Day 4 Nagarhole National Park - BR Hills

    Today proceed to BR Hills. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Overnight stay.

  5. Day 5 BR Hills

    After breakfast spend one more day for wildlife viewing and strenuous bird watching by jeep and Elephant Safari. Overnight stay.

  6. Day 6 BR Hills - Bandipur National Park [100 kms]

    Today drive to Bandipur National Park. Bandipur is one of the main National Parks in southern region. It has an area over 874 sq kms. Bandipur has enough number of tigers. Apart from the tiger Sambhar, Chital, Mouse Deer, Wild Dogs, Wild Boar, Jackal, Sloth Bear, Panther are the other animals which you can spot during the jeep safari. On arrival, check in to the Resort. Enjoy the evening Jeep Safari in the park. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bandipur.

  7. Day 7 Bandipur National Park

    Today do the game ride in the park for Wildlife viewing. Overnight stay at the hotel in Bandipur.

  8. Day 8 Bandipur National Park – Ooty [80 kms]

    An early morning drive to Ooty. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Later do the sightseeing tour of Ooty, visit the beautiful botanical garden designed in 1847. Visit the shores of Lake Ooty, where you can enjoy the boating, Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri mountains (2,623 m.) Zotanical Garden, A variety of exotic and ornamental plants adorn this garden. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

  9. Day 9 Ooty – Mudumalai [70 kms]

    After breakfast drive to Mudumalai Wild Life Sanctuary. On arrival, check in to the Hotel. Later in afternoon enjoy the Safari the Sanctuary. Evening will be at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Mudumalai.

  10. Day 10 Mudumalai – Wayanad [94 kms]

    After breakfast drive to Wayand. Wayanad has an area of 344 sq kms. It came in to the existence in 1973 when it was declared Wildlife sanctuary. The Sanctuary is the home of variety of animals. Elephants, Deer, Bonnet Macaques, Bison, Monkeys, Sambhar, Malabar Squirrel and beer can be spotted in the Wayanad Wildlife Sanctuary. Apart from this presence of big, cats, Panther also has been noticed in this region. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Wayanad.

  11. Day 11 Wayanad

    After breakfast do the Safari in the Sanctuary to spot the animals. Evening at leisure. Overnight stay.

  12. Day 12 Wayanad – Bangalore [270 kms] 6/7 hours drive

    After a breakfast drive to Bangalore. On arrival we will transfer you to board the flight for onward destination.
